Flying Helmet, Type C HC10


Brown leather flying helmet that fits closely to head. Black rubber ear cups on both sides of helmet. Adjustable leather strap at back and domes at side where oxygen mask would attach.

Used by RAF pilots during WW2. Also similar to the type of flying helmet worn by aviator Jean Batten.
