Bellows HC140

Two tear drop shaped pieces of wood with handles are joined together by a leather sack that folds together. A black metal nozzle at one end.

Bellows deliver pressurized air to a specific location depending where the nozzle is directed. Accordion bellows such as this one has been used in Europe since the 1700s. Typically bellows have been used to deliver additional air to fire making it burn faster and hotter.
