Medical Vibrator HC65/1-6

Steel frame with wooden handle. At bottom is a turning metal disc with a smaller protruding one in the centre that is activated by metal handle at side. Comes with various attachments and wooden case lined with velvet.

An adjustable mechanical vibrator which was used in the home for therapeutic massage. Operator selected head and placed on skin before turning the handle. Vibration was a popular form of therapy. Thought that vibration could rid a body of disease.
